Haldighati. The name translates as "the pass of turmeric" — named for the gold-tinged earth that has coloured Rajputana history. It is the same soil from which the Chaitry Gulab draws its singular character: a fragrance so dense and layered that it has been coveted by perfumers and Ayurvedic physicians for centuries.
We did not invent this rose. We preserved it. For generations, local farmers and Vaidyas kept the Chaitry cultivation alive, knowing what the season asked of them: patience, labour, and absolute respect for the harvest window.
